A major advantage is that US Amazon customers can use the same information as on their current US-Amazon accounts and current credit card. US customers have the German MWSt [c. 7%] deducted from the price of the items; the shipping costs to the US are 35 marks per shipment plus 5 marks per item. [German customers can pay through their Giro accounts.] Tested for less common items, the site did find somewhat specialized transportation, literary and music material.

emphasis in its 8,000 titles is strongly on classic literature and
on scholarly and reference books. You can browse at the page the
link above leads you to or else you can search at their Search
Page. Besides the usual credit card payment, orders can be
sent on invoice. Shipping costs are much lower than from the

available. Although the variety is not as extensive as on the
foreign sites above, it is very broad. Netstore displays a final

and voluminous assortment of German language videos for rental and
for purchase: silent expressionistic classics, 1930s musicals, New
German Cinema, Heimatfilme, travel documentaries, television
comedy and drama series, etc. etc. There is also a smaller
selection of English-dubbed versions of German movies. Payment by
