Here is a photo of the ceremonies yesterday at Ground Zero. In
the background the remains of the World Trade Center station can
be clearly seen. Most of the track floor is still there, and at
the north end where it goes under remaining building structure
the platforms appear to be still in place. At upper right is the
round hole where the line to Hudson Terminal exits the Greenwich
St side of the bathtub. The square openings at top center may be
at the base of the escalators into the PATH mezzanine, and if
so, the part of the mezzanine that would have been to the far
right as you came down may still exist in the remaining
structure.
At far left is the track coming in from New Jersey. It's curving
to the right, i.e. from left side of the photo to the bottom of
the photo, and then curves almost 180 degrees left under the
bottom of the photo. The track running out to the NJ is under
the remaining structure at the top of the photo.
Another good photo is on the front page of the Star Ledger
today. They have not put today's photos on their web page yet
but it may appear tonight or tomorrow. http://www.nj.com/photos/ledgerphotos
